What is your favorite part about teaching?
Helping students see how things they learn in the classroom are useful in their own lives.
What research projects are you working on or have recently completed?
In the Attention & Memory Lab, we recently finished a study about neuromyths (common incorrect beliefs about brain function). Right now, we are developing a study on how pupil dilation changes in response to easy vs. difficult tasks.
Why should a student choose WKU and CEBS?
Our faculty are experts in maximizing students’ learning opportunities. This means high-quality teaching, lots of research and service opportunities for students, and an environment where all students are supported and encouraged to succeed.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I am extremely afraid of bats (the animal, not the baseball kind).
