WKU Special Education Programs Wins National Award

The Awards and Scholarship Committee of the American Council on Rural Special Education (ACRES) has selected WKU’s Special Education Undergraduate and Graduate Degree Programs for an Exemplary Program Award.
WKU won the award for Excellence in Preservice and In-Service training. The award was given out during ACRES Annual Conference Awards and Scholarship Luncheon in Pittsburgh, PA on Friday, March 10, 2023.
Dr. Christina Noel, Associate Professor, and WKU Alumna Emily Hollis accepted the award for WKU, the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, and the School of Teacher Education.
