WKU CCSJ to present 'Beyond the Dream' Nov. 6 as part of International Education Week Dialogue Series

The WKU Center for Citizenship & Social Justice will present the documentary Beyond the Dream from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday (Nov. 6) in Jody Richards Hall Auditorium as part of the International Education Week Dialogue Series.
The IEW Dialogue Series involves participating faculty facilitating a student-led discussion that is connected to a specific course and is prompted by an image, concept or phrase. These dialogue sessions on Monday-Thursday (Nov. 6-9) are open to everyone, and topics in the series range from global business communication to cultural anthropology to U.S. and European immigration to international exports. Fabian Alvarez from WKU’s Department of English will facilitate the discussion of Beyond the Dream as participants discuss “Defining American your way” and learn more about Dreamers or undocumented immigrants.
The dialogue is open to the public and all attendees are invited to participate. Refreshments will be provided. For information, contact the CCSJ at ccsj@wku.edu
