WKU faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in the KYNETIC Translational Training Series at 2 p.m. CT Friday via Zoom.
KYNETIC (Kentucky Network for Innovation & Commercialization) is a translational grant and education program that is open to all of Kentucky’s public higher education institutions. The goal of KYNETIC is to expedite research to the healthcare marketplace.
In Friday’s presentation of Perfecting Your Pitch by Rebecca Rice, Director of Product at Render Capital, participants will learn more about perfecting their business pitch to advance their technology and/or potential startup company.
Rice was previously the Director of Operations at the Louisville Healthcare CEO Council and the Director at XLerate Health, an award-winning healthcare-focused startup accelerator in Louisville. She oversaw the development and customer discovery needs for two cohorts of healthcare startups from around the world. She was also a Project Manager for the NIH ExCITE (Expediting Commercialization, Innovation, Translation, and Entrepreneurship) Program at the University of Louisville.
