Varsity Esports at Western Kentucky University

The Esports Program at Western Kentucky University is more than just a game— it is an official institution-recognized varsity program that proudly showcases our student athletes in collegiate competitions. We compete in the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) Starleague tournaments as well as developer-run tournaments. Our four game titles that we have teams for are League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, and Valorant.

Our program aspires to be recognized as the premier University for esports in the country. To achieve this, we equip our athletes with top-of-the-line equipment, a dedicated esports arena, guidance from an excellent coaching staff, and scholarship opportunities. The program is open to all full-time undergraduate and graduate students at WKU, fostering a multifaceted and competitive environment.
