Pre-Health Professionals Living Learning Community


 

Join the Pre-Health Professionals Living Learning Community (LLC) at WKU and begin your journey toward a meaningful career in health care. Designed for first-year students pursuing pre-professional pathways such as medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, pharmacy, and other health-related fields, this community provides a supportive environment that helps you thrive both academically and personally. 

As a member of the Pre-Health Professionals LLC, you'll live and learn alongside other students who share your passion for science, service, and improving the lives of others. Together, you'll build strong friendships and a sense of belonging through shared classes, study groups, and events focused on wellness, teamwork, and leadership in health care. 

You'll also benefit from personalized mentorship and professional guidance from faculty and staff who are dedicated to your success. By joining the Pre-Health Professionals Living Learning Community, you'll gain early exposure to the world of health care, build a strong academic foundation, and connect with peers and mentors who will support you throughout your time at WKU and beyond. Together, you'll learn, grow, and prepare to make a lasting impact in the lives of others. 


Must declare one of the following majors in the Ogden College of Science and Engineering:

  • Biology
  • Biochemistry
  • Chemistry
  • Medical Laboratory Science
  • Neuroscience
  • Physics
  • Psychological Science 

AND 

Must declare a concentration in one of the pre-health professions advising tracks:

  • Pre-Chiropractic
  • Pre-Dentistry
  • Pre-Medicine
  • Pre-Occupational Therapy
  • Pre-Optometry
  • Pre-Pharmacy
  • Pre-Physical Therapy
  • Pre-Physician Assistant
  • Pre-Podiatry
  • Pre-Veterinary

Students majoring in Agriculture with a Pre-Veterinary advising track should select the Agriculture LLC.
