Football Event Parking

On Saturday, November 15th, the WKU Hilltoppers will host Middle Tennessee in a football game. Kick-off is at 2:32PM.

Tailgating and Pre-Game Activities
· Tailgating areas open at 9:30AM
· Topper Walk begins at approximately 12:10PM at Parking Structure 1.
Free Public Parking with Complementary Shuttle Service

· Free event parking with transit service to Houchens L.T. Smith Stadium will be available from the following lots:
o Creason Lot
o Parking Structure 3
o Adams Street Lot
o Kentucky Street Lot
o Alumni Square Garage
o Russellville Rd West Lot
· Transit service begins at 12PM from PS3 and Creason Lot and 12:30PM from Russellville Road West Lot and Kentucky Street and Alumni Ave.
· The transit stop for Adams Street Lot, Kentucky Street Lot, and Alumni Square Garage is located at the corner of Kentucky Street and Alumni Ave.
· The transit stop for Russellville Road West Lot is located at the bus stop in the lot.
· The transit stop for PS3 and Creason Lot is located at the PS3 bus stop.
· Service is suspended after kick-off and resumes at half-time until approximately one hour after the game is over.
· All Topper Transit buses are equipped to provide ADA service.
Complementary Topper Cart Service ****NEW****
· WKU Topper Cart will be available for those with limited mobility needs and provides services from designated stops to L.T. Smith Stadium.
· Service begins 1 hour prior to kick-off and runs through the first quarter. Service resumes at the start of half-time and runs until the end of the game.
· Topper Cart Pick-ups:
o McCormack Lot
o McLean Service Drive
o Parking Structure 1 Avenue of Champions Exit
o Parking Structure 2 Smith Stadium Elevator Tower
· Topper Cart Drop-offs
o Gate 1
o Between Gates 5 and 6 (where Corvette is parked)
RV Parking
· Service Supply Lot will be reserved beginning at 4:30PM on Friday. All vehicles must be cleared by 4:30PM. Any vehicles remaining will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.
· Reserved RV parking will be available in the Service and Supply Lot beginning at 4:30PM on Friday, November 14th.
o Contact HAF (270-745-5321) to reserve a space.
· Public RV parking will be allowed in Creason Lot on a first come, first served basis as space allows starting at 4:30PM Friday.
· See WKU Football Parking and Tailgating Map for specific location within lot.
· Driving lanes must remain open at all times.
Reserved Parking
· The following lots are reserved beginning Friday, November 14th at 4:30PM (must be cleared by 5:00PM). Any vehicles remaining will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.
o CHB Lot next to PS1
o West Stadium Lot
o H4 parking spaces on Avenue of Champions
o A portion of the Poland Lot identified with signs
o Parking Structure 2 - 1st Floor
o Creason Lot OZ Zone and area closest to the Softball Field.
· The following lots are reserved beginning Saturday, November 15th at 5:00AM (must be cleared by 7:00AM). Any vehicles remaining will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.
o Parking Structure 2 Levels 2-5
o McCormack Lot
o Parking Structure 1 Levels 1-3
§ H1 permits will be honored in Levels 4-7
§ FS3 permits will be honored in Levels 4-7
o Lots surrounding Diddle Arena
o South Lawn Lot
o Avenue of Champions Faculty/Staff parking
Alternate Parking
· Chestnut Street South Lot
· Park Street Lot
· Parking Structure 3
· Alumni Square Garage
· Adams Street Lot
· Kentucky Street Lot
Road Closings, Pick-ups & Drop-offs
· Avenue of Champions will close at 10:30AM. Only authorized event traffic and University service vehicles will be allowed through.
· While this road is closed, please use Regents Ave or Minton Circle for pick-ups and drop-offs. Do not block traffic.
· No rideshare or food deliveries will be allowed on College Heights Blvd at Avenue of Champions. Please direct your ride to Minton Circle or Regents Avenue.
Traffic Control
· WKU and Bowling Green Police will begin directing event traffic away from campus late in the game as needed.
