Shonte' began working at Health Services in July 2009. In May 2010, Shonte' completed his Associate Degree in Information Systems, with an emphasis on Programming. His job duties include assisting the IT administrator with in-house technical support and software issues and installations. Shonte' is currently pursing a Bachelor of Science in Systems Management and plans to graduate in May 2012.

Dr. Liz Sturgeon is the 2025 Kentucky Nurses Association Nurse of the Year. The award is presented annually by the KNA to recognize a nurse who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and professionalism in the field.

Area high school students from across the region participated in the Pathways to Smiles Oral Health Careers Camp—an immersive two-day experience hosted by the South Central Kentucky Area Health Education Center (AHEC). Held October 9–10 at WKU.

More than 350 fourth-graders from Warren County participated in the 30th annual Progressive Agriculture Foundation (PAF) Safety Days® program held on Sept. 25th at WKU’s L.D. Brown Agricultural Exposition Center.
