On Monday night, HAC partnered with Mammoth Cave National Park for their annual Perseid Meteor Shower, drawing in over 350 members of the public to watch the sky light up with bright streaks. The telescope image (one of Mammoth Cave’s telescopes) highlights the setup for the night.

For more information on upcoming events at the park, as HAC regularly partners with Mammoth Cave for free star parties throughout the year where anyone can learn about how the night sky works.
