SPS Picnic Fall 2025

Friday, November 7th, 2025

The SPS Picnic is a family, friends, and colleagues event hosted by the Society of Physics Students every spring and fall at city parks. Students, staff, faculty and family enjoy a cookout lunch and games such as basketball, soccer, and frisbee. This fun tradition has been around since the 1970s. It's a great opportunity to socialize and enjoy food on a nice day! This year, the picnic was hosted at Kereiakes Park. Everyone enjoyed hotdogs and hamburgers grilled by Dr. Jason Boyles and Hunter Perryman, as well as the nice weather and the chance to spend time with family and fellow Physics department members.
