HAC DiscoverFest and Solar Observing

Last week, the Hilltopper Astronomy Club (HAC) provided two days of solar observing for the WKU community. On Wednesday, HAC ran a table at DiscoverFest, where students seek to gain information on WKU’s various student clubs just outside of the DSU. And on Thursday, the turnout was much greater, where HAC hosted a solar observing day in front of Hardin Planetarium, where over 50 students observed the sun using various astronomical tools.
