Bachelor of Science in Business Data Analytics

The Business Data Analytics major requires 66 semester hours. The major is designed to prepare students for professional careers using data analytics and technology. Students are trained to use data to improve decision making and gain insight.
Local and global businesses are increasingly relying on the acquisition, management, and analysis of data. As the amount of data increases from all aspects of society, so does the need for employees trained in data analytics.

Artificial Intelligence and Analytics, Certificate
The 12-hour Artificial Intelligence and Analytics certificate, designed for all WKU students, introduces key concepts in AI fundamentals, machine learning, applied data analysis, visualization, and AI ethics. This certificate provides any WKU major with a valuable edge in today’s diverse job market.
Applied Data Analytics, Certificate
The 18-hour Certificate of Applied Data Analytics is based on 15 hours of core courses and 3 hours of advisor-approved upper-division courses. The approved elective may be from the Gordon Ford College of Business or any other college.
