Many students arrive with college credit already in hand—whether through dual credit in high school or coursework from another institution. As academic advisors, it’s essential to understand how these credits are evaluated and applied toward degree requirements. In this session, the Transfer Center team will walk through the transfer credit process, including how students submit prior coursework, how course articulation is determined, and what to expect during evaluation. They will also share strategies for partnering with advisors to ensure a smooth and informed transition for transfer students.
