Honors Graduation Reception

Please join the MHC staff and faculty for a reception featuring hors d'oeuvres, an assortment of beverages, and a special graduation keepsake on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the Eva and Jim Martens Alumni Center from at 2:00PM - 6:00PM CST. 

Receptions will be staggered to accomodate guests and graduates comfortably.

• 2PM - 3:30PM | Ogden College of Science & Engineering and the College of Health & Human Sciences
  • Medallion ceremony and brief remarks will take place at 2:45PM
• 4:15PM - 5:45PM | Potter College of Arts & Letters, Gordon Ford College of Business, and College of Education and Behavioral Science
  • Medallion ceremony and brief remarks will take place at 4:45PM

At the reception, you will be presented with your MHC graduation medallion, and professional photo stations will be available for commemorative photographs. This will be an open-house style gathering, with brief remarks. The suggested attire for the event is business casual. 

All graduating seniors must complete the honors exit survey. At the end of the survey, graduates will have optional opportunity to self-nominate for several Honors graduation awards—we strongly encourage you to review the available awards and celebrate your achievements! Self-nomination period will close on FEB 27, 2026.
