She is also the author of the children’s picture book We Are the Scrappy Ones (Lerner), a poetic celebration of resourcefulness, resilience, and belonging.

Admission is free, no tickets are necessary, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

A book signing will immediately follow her talk. A QR attendance code will also be available for students at the conclusion of the talk.
