PCAL Commitment to Student and Faculty Success

Mission

The Council for Community and Accessibility (CCA) is dedicated to fostering accessibility, community, and belonging within PCAL. Through outreach, engagement, and enrichment, we strive to create an environment where all students feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Our work is student-focused and forward-thinking, emphasizing recruitment, retention, and graduation while highlighting the enduring value of a liberal arts education. We support scholarships, programs, and initiatives that promote accessible education, critical thinking, and resilience in facing challenges.

By cultivating campus and PCAL pride, the CCA seeks to advance a culture of communality, innovation, and student success that prepares all graduates to thrive in their academic journeys and beyond.

Our college is dedicated to fostering an environment where all students, faculty, and staff can succeed and thrive. Recent events have underscored the importance of fostering a welcoming and respectful campus environment for all members of our community. We strive to create a campus climate where all individuals feel valued and supported in their academic and professional pursuits.

Our goal is to provide resources and opportunities that support student and faculty success across all disciplines and backgrounds. We are committed to attracting and retaining talented students, faculty, and staff by fostering a supportive and enriching academic environment.

Funding is available for programs that enhance student engagement, faculty development, and academic enrichment.
